On 19th March 2010, The Consulate of the Republic of Indonesia in Songkhla had participated in the opening ceremony of the 14th International Kite Samila Beach 2010 at Samila Beach, Songkhla which was officially opened by the Governor of Songkhla HE.Vinyou Thongsakul. The program was organized by Songkhla Municipality aimed at promoting local sports and games and maximizing youth and people at their leisur time. There were varieties of kite competition such as Highest Fly Kite, the Most Loud Kite, the Most Beautiful Kite, the Best Creative Kite, Family Kite and Youth Team Kite. The event also includes the International Kite Show, Food and Products Exhibitions and Music. In this connection, the Indonesian Consulate had contributed one Indonesian Traditional dance at the evening after opening ceremony..
